Students for the Second Amendment members attend
NRA Board of Directors meeting in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Students for the Second Amendment and Collegiate Firearms Instructor Program members attended the NRA Board of Directors meeting held in Corpus Christi, Texas on Friday, January 17th.

This meeting of the NRA National Directors marks the first time such a meeting has been held outside of Virginia.

In attendance were over sixty members of the NRA's National Board of Directors.

Attendees Included; Congressman Bob Barr of Georgia, Soldier of Fortune Magazine Publisher Col. Robert K. Brown, Legendary Shooter Jeff Cooper, Star of Dallas Susan Howard-Chrane, Marion P. Hammer, and many other notable freedom lovers.

Attendees were treated to a terrific buffet of burgers, hot dogs and rootbeer floats. A local band provided patriotic and dixieland music.


Senator Phil Gramm of Texas is presented a custom flintlock pistol by NRA leadership in honor of his years of service in defense of our cherished freedoms.

U.S. Senator Phil Gramm of Texas was honored by the NRA with the presentation of a custom-made flintlock pistol. Senator Gramm spoke for a few minutes about his experiences in office in defense of the Second Amendment. He thanked the assembled crowd for their enduring support during his time in public sevice.

Students for the Second Amendment and Collegiate Firearms Instructor Program members will be in attendance at the National Rifle Association's Annual Meeting April 23-27. 2003 in Orlando, Florida.
